What is Non-Violent Communication (NVC)?

Non-Violent Communication (NVC), developed by psychologist Marshall Rosenberg, is a communication framework that fosters empathy, understanding, and connection. It’s based on the idea that all human behavior stems from attempts to meet universal needs, and conflicts arise when these needs are not understood or met.

NVC helps individuals express themselves honestly and listen to others with compassion, reducing blame, judgment, and defensiveness. It’s a powerful tool for improving relationships, resolving conflicts, and creating a more harmonious environment.
